A total of four guests of honor will be visiting Umicon! With great joy and privilege we welcome these artists, each notable in their respective fields, to our event. Read more about who they are!

Itaru Hinoue

Hinoue is an Art Director and illustrator from Osaka. She is also one of the founding members of the VisualArts studio Key. Visual novel gamers and anime fans are sure to recognize her from works such as Air, Clannad, and Kanon, where she worked as an Art Director and illustrator.

Kumi Tanioka

Hailing from Hiroshima, Tanioka Kumi is not only a skilled pianist but also a video game composer whose music is notable for combining various instruments from all over the world. Her greatest love is the piano, which is why the majority of all piano parts in her songs are played by Tanioka herself.
